Green tea comes from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and other Asian countries. It has a long history of use. Started as a medical plant, it became a popular beverage. Green teas are steamed, pan fired or baked to prevent further oxidization during its storage.

Not expansive or high style, but very fragrant and lively green tea from China. A bit similar to Japanese green teas. Palais has it very fresh, at least in their Israeli shop. Brewed in Gaiwan very fast. Continue reading →
